JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent of this position is responsible for: The administration and monitoring of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program to sponsored unaffiliated and affiliated centers and family child care homes and associated tasks.
SUPERVISION:
Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Child Development Director.
Exercised: None.
RATE:
- $16.10 -$18.05
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the monitoring, associated paperwork, and follow-up of the Child and Adult Care Food Program unaffiliated centers and family day care homes through regular site visits to ensure compliance with the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
- Consolidate and complete second edit for monthly meal claims for unaffiliated and affiliated centers and family child care homes.
- Complete requisitions for provider payments and spreadsheets for payment back-up.
- Knowledge of claim data entry in NH Dept. of Education claiming website.
- Understanding of the entire claiming process and ability to perform required aspects from receiving claim information to payment.
- Perform edit checks on enrollment forms and parent applications.
- Attend/complete annual trainings provided by the New Hampshire Department of Education to meet program training requirements.
- Attend regular trainings in the areas of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and child nutrition.
- Familiar with the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines including but not limited to meal patterns, portion sizes, record keeping requirements, monitoring requirements, new provider application process and paperwork requirements, and annual provider renewal process.
- Stay up-to-date on Minute Menu CX and Minute Menu HX software.
- Knowledge of NH Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Support completion of annual CACFP application.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel when needed.
- Will maintain professional boundaries with all current, past, and prospective clients, and maintain the confidentiality of clients and staff, in accordance with SNHS policy and procedure.
- Abide by all SNHS Safety policies and procedures.
- Present professional and positive image as a representative of SNHS.
- Responsible for having adequate knowledge of all SNHS programs and will gather sufficient intake information to make referrals to other SNHS programs which are beneficial to the client and his/her family.
- Perform other related duties as required.
