The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Student Worker with interest in Data Analytics. As an Associate Reporting Specialist, you will collaborate with analysts within the Analytics department to support the maintenance of reports, updating existing reporting and writing new content to support Power BI and Excel reporting.
The student will gain experience in T-SQL, Power BI and using Excel as a reporting tool.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Availability between 8 AM to 4 PM ET for 2 to 6 hour shifts several days a week to work on assigned reporting tasks.
- Review reporting to identify irregularities.
- Evaluation of existing reporting, and supporting business partners’ change requests.
- Special Projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU
- Work Study as part of their financial aid package
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Basic understanding of querying using T-SQL.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and great communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Analytical skills
- Familiar with Reporting Tools such as Excel or Power BI
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio is a plus.
