Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Department Manager/Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for dispatching service technicians for our office machine service department, handling clerical duties, and assisting with billing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on service requests and technician availability
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate with customers regarding service updates and scheduling
- Assist with general office management duties, including ordering supplies, maintaining schedules, and supporting day-to-day operations
- Handle billing and invoicing for service calls and related activities
- Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the service department
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling tools)
- Basic understanding of billing and invoicing processes
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role or with dispatching/service coordination is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
