Position: Intervention Specialist
Location: Southern Ohio Learning Center | Southern Ohio Educational Service Center
General Description: The Southern Ohio Learning Center (SOLC) is expanding and is seeking licensed Intervention Specialists. Selected candidates would, under general supervision, assess and evaluate developmental levels of students, plan and implement Individual Education Plans, provide appropriate instruction and personal care for assigned students, work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, communicate effectively with families, and prepare and maintain required reports. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist Teaching license or the ability to obtain through Supplemental or Alternative Licensure pathways.
Must be credentialed as highly qualified in core subject areas assigned.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
