AP & Warranty Specialist - Shared Services Description
Essential Functions
- Provide vendors and family members with extraordinary service, Service Way Service at all times
- Reconcile VIP vendor statements
- Process accounts payable invoices using Corecentric and WEBui
- Ensure invoices are paid timely and accurately while adhering to company procedures
- Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
- Handle accounts payable for assigned branches and vendors
- Analyze workflow processes
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
- Process Rheem water heater warranty submissions
- Collaborate with Rheem for all water heater warranty needs
- Partner with company family members for warranty needs
- Any additional functions assigned by local Branch Manager or Supervisor
- Under general direction, assist in any special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Friendly customer-service attitude and ability to interact with vendors and Southern Pipe family members in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented required
- Ability to read and interpret detailed written information (computer reports, material, customer specifications, etc.) and locate and identify part numbers
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work extended hours periodically
