We serve the Auburn/Opelika areas, Lake Martin & surrounding areas, as well as Phenix City and Columbus, GA. We’ve enjoyed serving our community for over 19 years by developing relationships with our clients and providing professional expertise and quality work.
What’s the position?
We currently have a full-time position available for a landscape crew leader. This entails working Monday – Friday with the occasional Saturday. You will be responsible for directing the crew members and working alongside them to ensure the safety, timeliness, and quality of installation projects.
Daily Responsibilities:
Prepare the truck for the day: You are responsible for making sure that all of the equipment you will need for the day is safely loaded on your truck. It’s likely that you will need different equipment and tools depending on the day, so it’s very important that you check to make sure you have everything you need.
On the jobsite: You are responsible for communicating with our designer and the homeowners to ensure a smooth installation. You will need to be confidently knowledgeable on the project and all that it entails. These installation jobs may range from irrigation work, drainage repairs, patio installation, building retaining walls, tree work, pruning, planting, landscape lighting, or installing sod. You will be responsible for making sure that these projects are done in a timely manner and to proper horticultural standards. We take pride in the quality of our work, and we want you feel the same.
Unloading the truck: You are responsible for unloading all of your equipment and making sure that it is clean and properly maintained. This includes the truck itself. This is a time to do any maintenance or tune ups that the machines may be needing. We see our equipment as an investment, and we take great care in making sure that it is well taken care of.
Requirements:
At least one year of landscaping experience; this should be reflected on your resume
Valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle to get to and from work
Ability to pass random drug testing
A positive attitude and a willingness to work hard and learn new things
Dependability
Ability to self-motivate and complete tasks without having to be told
Knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment, building retaining walls, laying pavers, installing sod and plants, proper pruning techniques, and stonework
Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
