The Position:
The Full-time treatment coordinator is responsible for scheduling patients, coordinating new patient appointments and ensuring an optimal new patient experience occurs; discussing and finding financial options to help patients receive the care they need, and ensuring office goals are being achieved. Must have radiography ("x-ray") certificate, 1 year of Dental office experience at the front desk, and experience presenting financial treatment plans and payment options.
Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Communication with patients to collect relevant information and assist patient with office paperwork/forms, both electronic or paper copies" medical and dental history, new patient intake forms, HIPAA, etc...
- Scheduling appointments for new patient exams, surgery, post-surgical visits, hygiene visits; arranging the doctor’s daily schedule to reach daily goals
- Assist doctor with new patient examination and treatment planning visits, including but not limited to, taking clinical notes, charting, vitals, clinical photographs, radiographs including CT scans.
- Discuss treatment plan options, financial arrangements/payment options, pre-op/post-op instructions, and complete patient consents/forms with patients.
- Setting up/taking down New patient exam rooms. Be familiar with Instrument cleaning and set up.
- Impression taking (Trioss scan and alginate), and pouring models.
- Attend Daily Morning huddles meetings, regular staff training or monthly office meetings that may run past 5pm (usually every other Tuesday).
Key Qualities:
- Must have Radiography ("X-ray") Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized; Good at coordination and planning
- Self-Directed and good Time Management
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Preferred but not required skills:Knowledge of dental surgical procedures, Open Dental software knowledge
Requirements: Active Radiography Certification
Location and Hours:
Our main office is located in Florence, Kentucky, and our secondary office is in Highland Heights. The treatment coordinator may need to work in the Highland Heights location on an as needed basis.
- 4 day work week (Monday-Thursday 8-5pm; As needed Fridays 8-12pm)
