Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for scholarship application processing, student records management, and eligibility tracking. Additionally, the position collaborates with Student Life & Leadership and Accounting to support SSF’s cooperative living program, student success initiatives, and program administration. It also involves monitoring academic progress, financial need, and student-related financial projects while maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
Qualifications
Summary of Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in a related field.
- At least one year of experience in program coordination, office management, or similar activities. Substantial internship or volunteer activities may also substitute for work experience.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a Level 1 background check.
Work Environment & Compensation
- This is a part-time position with flexible work hours, four to six hours per day.
- This position can be in either Tallahassee or Gainesville, Florida.
- Must be available for occasional in office hours, 2-3 days per month.
- Hours will vary be week, from 20-30 hours depending on the department’s needs. Higher hours are anticipated October to November and April to May.
Salary : $20 - $22
