Jaffe Sports Medicine, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing and established practice in Naples, Florida.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible.

Our team of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff are dedicated to ensuring that patients can improve their quality of life with pain relief that involves the use of cutting-edge technology.
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Providing treatment to patients relative to age, culture, and condition in the assigned clinical areas.

Identifying patient care needs; providing information to the patient and care team; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physical therapy directives.

Documenting patient treatment and progress, appropriately in the medical record. Documentation must meet peer review requirements.

Performing therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policies and procedures concerning federal, state, and local regulations, and PartnerCare standards.

Educational & Licensing Requirements:

Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university or technical institution.

Current active and unrestricted (without sanctions) State License.

Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

Experienced preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- National PTA certification/licensure
- Experience in a health care setting or outpatient rehabilitation clinic preferred
- Physical stamina and fitness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to physically work with the patients during their course of treatment, helping them to perform exercises correctly
