Detail/Prep Department Assistant-- Auto Dealership

Southern Team Automall in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking motivated, energetic individuals that are able to learn quickly and start generating results immediately.

This full-time position is for an DETAIL DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT in our Prep/Detail Department. Candidates must have above-average customer service skills and be comfortable working with several computer programs (including CDK). Hourly rate based on experience. Duties include writing/closing repair orders, taking photos for website posting, moving vehicles on and off the lot, customer service. Dealership experience helpful.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phones
• Work cooperatively with the Prep/Detail Manager and technician team
• Accurately process paperwork, work orders, and timesheets for the Prep/Detail Department
• Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
• Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
• Assist in scheduling, creating and confirming CDK work orders and follow-up with Manager regarding the progress of vehicles
• Assists Manager with clerical and other duties as requested.
