What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Custodian position at Southern Tech?
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition to include emptying trash, dusting, cleaning windows & doors, and sanitizing hard surfaces. Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include moving furniture & equipment, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow and/or debris from sidewalk.
Requirements:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years' custodial experience
- Must be willing to work 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm Mon - Thu & 10:00 am - 6:00 pm on Fridays.
- Must be able to legally drive a SouthernTech vehicle.
- Forklift Operation Certification required or must be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Salary : $18,600 - $23,500
