Southern Virginia University seeks an enthusiastic and student-centered Instruction and Reference Librarian to provide innovative and engaging instruction, research support, and reference services. This position offers the opportunity to bring creativity and energy to a user-focused library and contribute to student learning and success.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and assess information literacy instruction, ensuring engaging and effective research support for students and faculty.
- Teach research instruction sessions at various levels, including :
Composition courses and introductory research sessions

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods. Primarily an office / library environment with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
