The Media / Info Coordinator for the School of Film and Photography is responsible for creating the weekly student newsletter, creating and posting content for social media accounts, maintaining and updating the SFP website, and working with the School’s Director and staff to organize and arrange retention and recruiting events.

General Statement : The Media / Info Coordinator assists the Director and staff with all recruiting and retention events throughout the academic year. This position is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining all social media, including a weekly student newsletter that keeps students up to date with events, potential internships, and job opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Duties :
- Creating, processing, and distributing the weekly SFP student newsletter.
- Assisting the Director and staff with requests for internship and student opportunities.
- Managing content for all SFP social media (Instagram and Facebook) in accordance with the university’s social media policy and in coordination with University Communications’ social media manager.
- Maintaining and updating the SFP website in accordance with university policies using the University’s content management system.
- Responsible for promotional photography for the department, including securing and cataloging appropriate photo permissions and ensuring no copyrighted images are posted.
- Collaborating with University Communications on external communications regarding the school.
- Assisting with the purchase of branded merchandise for promotional purposes.
- Familiarizing with all relevant university communications policies and institutional practices.
