The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber (SWCRC) is seeking a dynamic professional for the part-time (expected to work up to 28 hours per week) position of Program Manager of the Regional Workforce Talent Initiative. The position is based on an annual contract, beginning July 1, with an end date of June 30. The SWCRC and Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) have partnered to create the Southern Wayne County Regional Workforce Talent Initiative (RWTI) program to effectively connect our region’s job providers with motivated talent within our community. The RWTI program brings together key stakeholders from our region’s business, government, K-12 and post-secondary education, and non-profit communities to enhance awareness and drive interest amongst our student population for key career pathways such as the skilled trades, public safety, and others. The ideal candidate will desire to have a positive impact on our regional employer and workforce community and inspire students to consider a career in the trades and other vocations of focus within the program. The RWTI Program Manager is responsible for creating, coordinating, and overseeing programming relating to the RWTI as detailed in the job description.
Compensation
- Temporary, grant-funded position. Funded on an annual contractual basis, July 1 – June 30
- Hourly compensation based on prior work experience, up to 28 hours per week.

- Earned paid sick time following the completion of 120 days of employment
- Paid time off for pre-determined holidays
REPORTS TO: SWCRC President/CEO
FUNCTIONS: This is a part-time position (up to 28 hours per week), and funded on an annual contractual basis by a partnership with Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD). The contract year begins on July 1 with an end date of June 30, with the possibility of a one (1) year renewal at the end of the contract term. The team member is responsible for managing and executing the Southern Wayne County Regional Workforce Talent Initiative.
