The Outside Sales Representative oversees the entire sales cycle from prospecting and cold calling to order fulfillment on commercial construction sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers• Perform jobsite sales and delivery of products• Prospect and contact potential customers• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadlines• Generate a positive and consistent customer service experience• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns• Create or coordinate sales materials to present to customers• Recommend products including features and benefits to suit customers’ needs• Complete transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner• Continually develop sales abilities and product knowledge, brands and prices• Provide on-site tool repair for customers as needed.
You Might Be A Good Fit If You Have:• Outside sales experience with priority for same or similar industry• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and web navigation
• Satisfactory driving record• Bilingual - English and Spanish (where applicable)• Knowledge and experience with construction products is helpful• Strong listening, oral and written communication skills• Computer skills• Strong sense of urgency• Ability to lift product of 50 pounds on a regular basis• Able to effectively problem solve, prioritize workloads and adapt to change• Ability to organize and act in various situations with little or no supervision / direction
