Gas and clean vehicles daily.
Keep track of passenger count and demographics.
Drive for other city and contracted scheduled routes.
Drive for day trips scheduled by the Parks and Recreation department.
Transport vehicles to designated locations for repairs.
Check email daily and communicate with supervisor via email.
Complete a daily check list of the vehicles.
Document needed vehicle maintenance on required form.
Complete written incident reports, as needed.
Must be flexible and able to multitask.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Prefer candidates with a valid Michigan CDL with a minimum of a Group C Designation and P endorsement.
- Will be scheduled for and can pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to obtain a C.P.R. card once employed.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Must be able to secure wheelchair tie downs.
- Must be able to manually operate a wheelchair lift.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check including driving and drug screen.
