Job Overview
We have a great opportunity for someone who likes to work in a very detail oriented position in a manufacturing company building stamping tools to produce metal stampings and wire forms.
Duties
-Build all tooling components to blueprint specifications
-Use all toolroom equipment such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, drill presses and cutoff saws to perform tool building functions
-Work independently but be able to follow directions provided by department supervisor
-Identify improvements within the department
Qualifications
-Class A toolmaker-with successful completion of a state accredited apprenticeship. Minimum 10 years tool making experience.
-Must be able to read slueprint reading and have an understanding of GD&T
-Must be capable of using measuring devices such as optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, vision systems, microscopes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Detail-oriented
- Work safely on powered equipment
Hours: full time, 40 per week M-F 7:00-4:30, in person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
