Job Summary:

The Route Collector/Driver will assist the Service Technician and Service Manager in maintaining strong customer service within the region. A company vehicle is offered during working hours.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls, resolves customer issues, and supports management in maintaining strong customer service within the region.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines over assigned territory.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations for vending machines.
• Emphatically listen, evaluate, and resolve service complaints.
• Be accountable for receipt of goods, product, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash received or collected.
• Prioritize service calls according to urgency and current location.
• Troubleshoot all malfunctions in order to perform necessary repairs and/or assist with scheduling Service Technician to perform repairs.
• Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and logs.
• Reconcile collections.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional in tense situations.
• Must be able to be bonded.
• Driver’s license with good driving record.
• Background check required.
• At least two years of experience in a customer service position preferred or a minimum of one year of related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
