What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborers & Forklift Operator position at Southland Employment Services?
New fulfillment center in Hampton VA is in need of workers to assemble/move pods, handle materials, and other duties as assigned. We are also in need of certified forklift operators.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- 1ST Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm
- General Labor $19/hr
- Forklift Operators $20/hr MUST HAVE CURRENT CERTIFICATION
Details/Requirements:
- Forklift Operators must have current certification on file
- Able to stand for long periods of time, lifting, reaching, walking and stooping
- Have a good attitude
- Follow Directions
- Be on time and dependable
- Able to perform general warehouse duties
- Other duties include general clean-up of the work area, throwing away trash, debris, etc.
- Steel toe shoes required on site
