Certified Peer Support Specialist Peer Bridger - Wake Med Join a supportive team who values Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, Inclusion, Hope, & Authenticity! As our Certified Peer Support Specialist Peer Bridger, you will provide individualized, strengths focused community-based interactions with assigned caseload for the purpose of promoting the development of wellness self-management, personal recovery, natural supports, coping skills, and self-advocacy skills and development of independent living skills for housing, employment, and full community inclusion. The Wake Med Peer Bridger is embedded in WakeMed from 9am - 1pm, then goes into the community with clients discharged from WakeMed to help them get to their first outpatient appointments. Pay Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Schedule Full-time, Monday - Friday. You will be eligible for medical benefits the first of the month following your first 30 days. You would receive 10 paid holidays as well as PTO hours which would accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months you would be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. We also provide company paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and paid credentialing.
