We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The HR Generalist is an integral position that the leadership team relies on as a partner to all people decisions. You must be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and critical thinking skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Handles employee relations issues and inquiries from employees and supervisors, partnering with appropriate leaders on complex and/or sensitive matters.
· Lead HR initiatives such as performance management, compensation management, and benefits open enrollment. Manage ongoing HR tasks such as leave administration, training and development, compliance, staffing and recognition.
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements:
· Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employees, management or business
information.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while prioritizing daily tasks.
· Ability to communicate both verbally and written in a professional manner
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or HRCI is a plus.

Repetitive hand movements (specifically keyboarding and writing)
