Our Nurse Manager is key to helping us fill our mission:
We prefer the individual to have the following:
- You have an RN License in Arkansas
- You have your AED Certification.
- You have your CPR Certification.
- You have at least 1 year(s) Long-Term care experience. (Preferred)

DON Responsibilities!
- Direct, oversee & evaluate all nursing personnel
- Guide staffing procedures & set objectives & long-term goals for nursing dept.
- Organize & coordinate admission, nursing & patient care procedures
- Develop & enforce policies (legal compliance & top-quality care)
- Control budgets, monitor expenditures, & manage record-keeping procedures
- Collaborate w/ other departments & professionals to streamline operations
- Report to upper management

ADON Responsibilities!
- Aid the DON in organizing, developing & directing the nursing dept.
- Ensure team members are adhering to the facilities policies to provide the best care of the residents
- Ensure care plans are up to date & attend care plan meetings
- Preform routine chart audits, & report to DON
- Communicate w/ DON, schedule, & assign nursing staff meetings
- Participate in and/or lead teams including, wound, infection control, Med A, 5 Star & QA.
- Conduct human resource function for assigned staff
- Review Resident & family concerns & complaints & respond
- In absence of DON, will lead assigned nursing staff.
- Performs on-call duty, charges assigned halls, & collab w/ interdisciplinary team as needed.
- Serve on committees (as assigned)
Schedule:
- Normal work hours will be Monday – Friday.
- You will be required to be in the on-call rotation with the other nurse managers which will require weekends/holidays/nights occasionally
