OUR FOOD: We procure high quality meats and our sides and desserts are made in-house every day. The right candidate will be highly food-focused ensuring appropriate par levels, freshness, preparation methods and cook times.
OUR GROWTH: Southside Market & Barbeque, the Oldest Authentic Texas BBQ joint in Central Texas, is family owned, and is getting bigger! Currently we're in Elgin TX, Bastrop TX, Austin TX, and Hutto TX. We have a history of being the oldest BBQ joint in the state of Texas. We couldn't have done that without our valued team members and dedicated leadership teams. We want to keep making history. but we need to continue to add skilled and devoted managers to be able to do that. We ARE opening more stores in Texas in the near future. To do so, we need additional dedicated leaders looking to work for a company that has continued growth opportunities,
YOUR GROWTH: Our new managers get training in every position and learn the Southside way of business. We heavily invest in the training of our manager so they can have all of the knowledge they need to be successful in their position. We have a proven record of growing team members from within no matter what position they start out in. Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience in managing a high-volume kitchen or restaurant
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Our managers cook, lead the team, and tend to our guests!
- Outstanding communication skills
- Has the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Cash managing experience
- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
- 2 – 4 years of Shift Lead or Restaurant Manager experience highly preferred

Licenses, certifications
- Culinary certification, associates or higher degree preferred
- Current/valid driver’s license in good standing
- Current/valid TABC license or able to obtain upon hire
- Valid ServSafe/Food Manager Certificate or able to obtain upon hire
This position works under and reports to the Restaurant General Manager.
