What are the responsibilities and job description for the RT/PA, RT/NP, or RPA (or Radiology Assistant) position at Southtowns Radiology?
This opportunity is in the Interventional Radiology section of a prominent Radiology private practice. The position involves assisting and performing procedures in our outpatient imaging center, working closely with our Radiologists. Our practice will help orient, train, and oversee this professional as they join our practice.
This position uses medical imaging to guide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose or treat certain conditions. Imaging modalities include fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT. Procedures involve making small incisions and using needles or catheters to enter the patient's body. The individual in this position will also help oversee fluoroscopy procedures (MUST be an RT).
The position is weekdays only, with no weekends or holidays. The position is vitally important to our practice, the hospitals, and most importantly, our patients.
