Job Summary
This position is to promote Southwest Construction Services and sell our Waterproofing services while providing the upmost customer satisfaction.
Job Duties
- Develop prospect lists and geographically organizing prospects.
- Able to take calls to facilitate appointments, call prospects and customers, close sales, proposal preparation, and follow ups.
- Attend weekly meetings [6 face-to-face, 20 proposal follow ups, 3-5 requests for proposals (RFPs)]
- Schedule meetings with customers.
- Assist the production, estimating, and accounting departments as necessary for sold projects (ie. management, contracts, change orders, collections, etc.).
- Attend company functions when required (out of town, evening, early morning, weekend, overnight stays, etc.).
- Build relationships with customers (ie. breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hours, etc.) - expenses to be reimbursed twice a month after approval from VP.
- Achieve assigned sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage ongoing projects, budget setups, overseeing work, ASIs, RFIs, change orders, weekly job-site meetings, etc.
- Assist other departments as necessary on sold projects.
- Attend any training provided or furnished trainings by the company.
Job Requirements
- Building envelope experience
- Develop and maintain client/vendor relationships
- Job site visits and attend pre construction/ pre installation meetings
- Conflict resolution skills
Preferred Skills & Background
- 3 years of Sales/Construction Industry Experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Navigate takeoff software preferred
