What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copier Service Technician position at SOUTHWEST FLORIDA COPIER?
Southwest Florida Copier is looking for a full time Copier Technician.
We provide a vehicle with a business gas card for all field work expenses.
We are a family owned business our office is located in Cape Coral, FL. We have been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in Ricoh and Konica MFPs.
As a Copier Service Technician your main focus is providing the best customer service by troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining networked office equipment for our diverse clientele. As well as cooperating with your service team. Office equipment including: digital networked copiers, scanners, laser printers, color copiers and wide format machines. Rebuilding parts such as fuser units, drum units, transfer belts Etc.
REQUIRED Skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of PC hardware, driver install, networking. Can train.
- Must understand Scan to folder/email SMTP Servers. Can train.
- Organizational skills, keeping a car stock and returning parts.
- Ability to work with multiple service solution providers for timely service.
- Strong “start to finish” time management skills.
- Be a self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities, ability to think out-of-the-box and contribute to evolving industry changes.
- Communication and team work is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a mechanical or technical repair position.
- Valid State driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must own smartphone with applicable calling, data and hotspot plan.
- Candidate must be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to work individually with little to no intervention.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance or 75 pounds as a team lift with 2 or more people.
Compensation will vary upon experience.
Reimbursement of weekly job-related expenses.
