Job title: Early Childhood Education Evaluator
Early Childhood Program Assessors use their expertise and comprehensive training to evaluate programs' practices. Their assessments, grounded in high-quality standards and conducted by impartial, skilled observers, provide invaluable insights for continuous improvement and excellence in early childhood programs.
Job Duties:
- Acquire certification in assessment tools and maintain proficiency to ensure accurate program practice measurements.
- Conduct thorough observations in classrooms or homes using standardized tools as assigned, to gather critical data.
- Document observations accurately in writing, utilizing approved report writing templates to create detailed assessment reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's, is preferred, degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Development, social services, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of five years experience working as a teacher, trainer, or primary care provider in an early care and education setting with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers preferably in early care and education settings.
- Previous experience with administering standardized tools is preferred.
- Experience as a childcare director is preferred.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Reliable transportation and proof of current auto insurance are required.
