Director of Marketing
Southwest Mobile Storage Inc. is a leading provider of mobile storage solutions, serving businesses across the country. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead and drive our commercial strategy and marketing efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance revenue growth, profitability, and market share, with a focus on aligning commercial goals with the company's overall business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Commercial Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
- Align commercial goals with the company's overall business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to inform and refine commercial strategies.
- Ensure the organization's commercial operations are customer-focused and aligned with market demands.
- Sales Optimization
- Design and implement sales strategies to drive performance across different sales
- channels {Digital, B2B, B2C, etc.).
- Develop sales processes and tools that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across all teams, ISR / TSM / BM.
- Lead the sales enablement function by equipping sales teams with the right resources, training, and insights.
- Set key performance indicators {KPls) and track performance metrics to ensure sales goals are met.
- Review / develop / follow up strategy for Projects in SMS territory dirt, team focus, including TSM / ISR alignment.
- Develop coaching cadence to optimize sales / BM focus to maximize market penetration and closing ratio.
- Marketing Alignment and Leadership
- Ensure strong alignment between marketing and sales teams to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee the development of customer segmentation strategies and ensure proper
- targeting of marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to drive brand positioning and messaging in line with market needs.
- Support the development of pricing and product positioning strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Customer Experience and Relationship Management
- Develop strategies to enhance the customer experience across all touchpoints, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. (i.e. post-delivery calls)
- Leverage customer feedback and data to continuously improve products, services, and customer interactions. (NPS)
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts (i.e. Quarterly business reviews to determine account penetration and growth)
- Implement and lead initiatives for customer retention, including loyalty programs and personalized experiences.
- Develop best practices, review manager development, digital development, key words development
- Leadership and Team Development
- lead and manage cross-functional teams within commercial excellence, including sales, marketing, and business development departments. (key focus on BM commercial acumen to scale and reinforce the ongoing development and coaching of the sales reps)
- Develop and mentor commercial teams, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and motivation to succeed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across commercial functions.
- Collaborate with HR to attract, retain, and develop top talent in commercial roles.
- Business Development and Partnerships
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships or acquisitions that enhance the company's market position.
- Lead efforts in identifying new markets and expansion opportunities.
- Analytics and Reporting
- Establish reporting frameworks for monitoring the performance of commercial activities, including sales, marketing ROI, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and course corrections.
- Provide senior leadership with regular updates on commercial performance and market conditions.
- Innovation and Market Differentiation
- Champion the adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and processes that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
- Lead efforts in new product or service development that aligns with market demand.
- Drive competitive analysis and ensure the organization is well-positioned relative to competitors. (google) to attract and gain market share.
