We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will support our daily office operations, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming environment. Pay $22-$23 DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound telephone calls professionally, providing information or routing calls to the appropriate team members.
- Greet clients and visitors, answering basic questions and providing assistance as needed.
- Take and deliver accurate messages to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Ensure postal mail is processed and sent out daily.
- Manage and organize the inventory of office supplies, keeping track of stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Assist with data entry and general office duties, including supporting the Accounting Department with various administrative tasks.
- Maintain and develop organized filing systems to ensure efficient document retrieval and management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth office operations and project support.
- Perform other miscellaneous office tasks and duties as required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience in office administration or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is beneficial.
