What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Communications Manager position at Southwest Network?
You will work with executives, leaders and other staff to create and distribute internal communications covering a variety of topics, including but not limited to human resources, recruiting, finance, programs, services, compliance, quality improvement, risk management, training, and policies and procedures. This includes newsletters, reports, letters, brochures, flyers, annual report, e-mails, posters and more. You will also develop, design and distribute external messages and promote our organization and its services to members, stakeholders, donors, and the community across email, social media, websites and other platforms.
As part of our professional administrative team, your work will help support our caring and dedicated employees so they can provide efficient, quality care and timely services to our members. Your willingness to constantly utilize feedback to meet needs and expectations is critical in this role. You must have a positive attitude, be responsive, and have a desire to serve your fellow employees and our community with honesty, respect and strength.

- Experience in graphic design, web design, and social media.
- Must be competent in the use of graphic design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or QuarkXPress or similar programs.
- Demonstrated writing, editing or content development skills a plus.
- Experience in health or behavioral health marketing a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks to accommodate changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work effectively with all levels of management and staff and be willing to solicit and consider input from all contributors on joint projects.
- Must be solutions oriented, attentive to details, and able to work autonomously.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
