Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to clients, focusing on personal development and goal achievement.
- Develop individualized action plans tailored to each client's unique needs and aspirations.
- Facilitate workshops and group sessions that educate clients on essential life skills, job readiness, and self-advocacy.
- Assist clients in navigating employment opportunities by offering guidance on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and job search strategies.
- Collaborate with community organizations to create resources for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust coaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Excellent mentoring abilities with a focus on empowering others.
- Proficient interviewing skills to effectively assess client needs and goals.
- Ability to recruit participants for programs and initiatives aimed at skill development.
- Strong educational skills to effectively convey information and foster learning among clients.
