- Align the project portfolio with corporate objectives to maximize business value.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for project selection, prioritization, and execution.
- Define and implement portfolio management best practices, methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Oversee portfolio risk management to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Build and maintain a high-performing PMO that drives execution excellence.
- Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the PMO team to enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Continuously improve PMO processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and organizational impact.
- Partner with senior executives and business leaders to assess, prioritize, and balance enterprise initiatives.
- Facilitate portfolio-level reporting and insights for senior leadership, offering recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure transparency in project execution through consistent communication and performance tracking.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to align project execution with business needs and strategic goals.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure project portfolio performance and business impact.
- Ensure benefits realization through continuous monitoring and post-implementation reviews.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project and portfolio management.
- Select, evaluate, and develop a high-performing team to ensure PMO success.
- Manage departmental budgets and resource plans, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.

To Be Successful In The Role We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Ten (10) Years of program or project management experience with a minimum of five years of direct supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in increasingly demanding leadership role(s)
- Demonstrated ability to work with executive leadership and influence decision-making
- Understand, comply with and enforce SPP Policies and Procedures, Business Practices, SPP Criteria, and SPP Tariff
- Proven experience in aligning projects with business objectives and managing project prioritization at a high level
- Experience in managing budgets
- Strong understanding of risk management and strategic decision-making
- Familiarity with enterprise change management frameworks
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and align teams on priorities.
- Flexibility and the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities
- Advanced degree in a business-related field
- Experience within the electric utility industry
- Proven track record of leading a Project Management Office (PMO) or Enterprise Portfolio Management function
- PMP, PfMP, PgMP, CSM, or Lean Six Sigma certification
