As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Answer phone and return voicemails in a timely manner
- Verify insurance information and coverage
- Collect payment and balances from patients at appointment time
- Check with patients for changes in demographics/insurance
- Categorize and upload faxes
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical receptionist
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in patient management software and willing to learn new systems

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
