Currently seeking a full time Maintenance Supervisor for homeowners’ association.
This is a 40 hour per week position as a maintenance technician.
OPERATING SKILLS:
- Perform routine maintenance
- Painting of interior common area
- Drywall repair
- General locksmith/repair
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical and plumbing
- Building technology systems maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of common grounds
- Perform routing cleaning of pool deck
- Perform duties relating to refuse container removal cleaning
- Ability to be flexible and support manager and janitorial maintenance
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
- Plan an organize work to meet schedules and timeliness deadlines
- Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Follow good health and safety principles
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
Knowledge/Abilities:
- Operational characteristics, services, and activities of an on-site condominium association maintenance program
- Methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment
- Occupational hazards and standard health and safety practices
- Principles and practices of general building inspection
- Knowledge of the location and method of operation of the potable water shutoff valves for each building
- Knowledge of the location and method of operation of the irrigation shut off valves
- Knowledge of location and operation of the electrical switches controlling the outdoor lights, main electrical panels for each building and electrical supply to the site

- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; be able to reach overhead; have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body
- Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. occasionally to complete assigned job tasks
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
- Maintain a valid Florida driver's license
Required Experience:
- HOA or Condo Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy work. (Required)
