Role
Objectives of this Role:
- To ensure and improve the quality control, compliance and efficiency of petroleum products in the automotive industry.
- Assist in splitting high volume of various sizes of samples for the sample prep section of the Fuels Laboratory
- Handle and split gasoline and diesel samples of various size containers.
- Organize samples in cold boxes.0
- Assist with washing and disposing of glassware and clean laboratory workspace.
- Dispose of spent fuels, chemicals and storage drums when full.
- Purge gasoline samples.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory stock by retrieving supplies from an on-site stockroom.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Chemistry courses helpful but not required.
- 0-2 years years: related work experience of working in a lab preferred but not required
- Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements.
- Must be available to work shift work and overtime when needed.
- Good attendance is required.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
