SwRI Cybersecurity Operations' mission is to secure the enterprise by evaluating, implementing, and operating a full suite of cybersecurity tool and services. We are responsible for configuring, administering, and supporting network and endpoint security systems. Operations include firewalls, intrusion prevention and operational incident detection and response and security orchestration and automation. From policy, through assessment and implementation, to operations and response, candidates will have the opportunity to engage in the full security lifecycle.

Objectives of this Role:
- Assist GRC staff and Cybersecurity Operations team.
- Assist with IT assessments.
- Assist with maintenance of Cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Assist with Data Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts (policy, inventory, risk).
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Work with Cybersecurity team to investigate and learn governance, incident response, system operations and analysis of data.
- Participate in documentation efforts for Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk and Compliance.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
- 0 years: At least two years of formal study towards a bachelors degree
- Coursework or internship experience with a focus or area of emphasis in Cybersecurity is required.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
