New Patient Scheduler (Bilingual English & Spanish) FYZICAL & Southwest Sport and Spine Center, Inc.

Location : Las Cruces, NM

Role Overview : The New Patient Scheduler is patient-centered who possesses a concierge approach. Our ideal candidate will embody warmth, friendliness, and engagement while maintaining professionalism, respect, and courtesy

Required : Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.

Responsibilities :

Schedule new patients for initial evaluations in physical therapy.

Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service.

Schedule incoming patient referrals.

Maintain and update information on providers schedules.

Ensure accuracy of patient data entered in the EMR system.

Assist with Check-in / Check-out duties as needed.

Requirements :

Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient medical office setting.

Professionalism and exceptional phone etiquette.

Ability to handle a heavy phone call volume.

Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Previous experience with EMR systems.

Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility.

Strong critical thinking skills for cross-referencing provider schedules.

Proficient multitasking abilities.

Accurate scheduling of patient appointments.
