Title: CAD Designer (Hourly, Non-Exempt)

Reports To: Systems Manager
Summary:
As a CAD Designer, you will play a critical role in creating the visual blueprints for efficient and safe industrial warehouse storage solutions. You'll translate concepts into precise CAD drawings, manage permit processes, and ensure projects meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Transform conceptual designs into detailed CAD layouts for production and permits.
Serve as a key communicator, bridging project information between teams and clients.
Uphold quality standards by conducting thorough design reviews and ensuring compliance.
Drive innovation by developing new designs and refining existing ones using AutoCAD.
Maintain consistent CAD standards and formatting for all deliverables.
Collaborate with fellow designers and contribute to project estimations.
Deliver accurate and timely design packages.
Interpret and apply building codes to ensure project compliance.
Manage all permit-related duties, including city/county communication.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in CAD design (Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant experience considered).
Expertise in AutoCAD and architectural drafting.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in MS Suite and Dynamics/CRM.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
