Veterinary Receptionist
Duties:
- Communication is key for this position, being able to communicate and convey information both to other employees as well as customers.
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, assist with client inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and appointments
- Be able to handle money and take payment from customers
- Provide basic pet care instructions to clients, including feeding, medication administration, and grooming
Skills:
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
- Must be able to cash in and out of register and be able to handle all forms of payment.
No felonies, must submit to drug test. must also posses a friendly demeanor.
