Job Description | Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) offers career-training programs in numerous technical, industrial and medical fields at a reasonable cost, going so far as to even waive tuition for certain eligible students. Located in Richlands, Virginia, SWCC offers associate's degrees in such fields as business, education, general studies, liberal arts and science. These degrees are primarily intended for students who wish to transfer to a four-year university. SWCC also has associate's degrees that feature programs intended to lead directly to a career in fields such as Nursing, Radiography and Administration of Justice. Southwest Virginia Community College is currently accepting applications for hourly Radiology Clinical Instructors to provide education and supervision in a clinical setting for radiography students consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiological sciences. KSA's/Required Qualifications | Shall be credentialed in Radiography in good standing by their respective credentialing agency (ARRT). Shall document the equivalent of two (2) years full time professional experience specific to the modality. Shall meet the criteria for the position as established by the sponsoring institution. Ability to use instructional and clinical tracking technologies. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association. Ability to wear appropriate PPE as required by clinical facility and/or patient condition. Must be able to pass criminal background screening. |
