Statement of Primary Purpose
Maintain financial accounting records in accordance with the North Carolina Community College accounting policies and procedures and GASB
Classification
Program Administrator, full-time, exempt
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cashier functions.
Approve payment of invoices processed without a purchase order.
Prepare and file forms 1098-T and 1099.
Ensure the general ledger is balanced on a weekly and monthly basis.
Provide administration and oversight for Corporate Purchasing Card program.
Maintain Financial Aid Link functions and updates.
Monitor instruction / services contracts.
Monitor and update all registration and fee tables.
Review daily receipts and make bank deposits.
Provide payment and financial support for Café 64.
Calculate, review and submit monthly Use Tax to the IRS.
Track and review all employee travel reimbursements.
Process Business Office monthly recurring expenditures.
Process insurance payments and provide carriers with requested renewal information.
Prepare and submit reports to NCCCS annually.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Assist VP for Financial and Administrative Services with duties as assigned
Monitor postage system and analyze use.
Monitor expenditures
Responsible for internal control of petty cash funds
Monitor foreign national vendor payments.
Ensure Datatel patch releases are tested and in compliance with NCCCS requirements.
M inimum Qualifications
Education
B.S. in Business Administration or related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for coursework.
Knowledge and Skills
Financial accounting skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Three - Five years’ experience with supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Requires work consistent with that typically found in an office setting.
Licensing Requirement
Valid NC drivers’ license
Working Conditions and Environment
General office setting. Some training related travel possible. Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
Equipment Operation
Office equipment, Laptop with office and accounting applications.

Salary : $50,472 - $55,536
