Location: Creston, Iowa
Individual will serve as office assistant for Business and Community Development and the Iowa Small Business Development Center. Essential duties shall include developing brochures and other promotional pieces for department, assist individuals with registration process, and other administrative tasks for the department as needed. Must be able to deal with public, display confidentiality, process accounts payable/receivable for department, and display excellent computer and word processing skills. May be called upon to assist with evening and weekend classes.
Qualifications: Prior experience in an office setting with strong computer skills and demonstrated ability in customer service required. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher, basic accounting knowledge, and ability to work with diverse populations required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
