Southwestern University, located in Georgetown has an immediate opening for an Enrollment Services Information Assistant position. This position is responsible for Enrollment Services student database system management; verification and preparation of student admission and financial aid materials; coordination of enrollment-related mailings/communications; compiling data and documents for other campus offices; and monitoring of primary divisional email account. This is a full-time, fully benefited, non-exempt position who reports to the Director of Enrollment Operations.
Primary Duties:
- Manage institutional database system content and data entry.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of data in the institutional database system.
- Track and record student-related interactions/contacts.
- Collect, verify, and match student application materials.
- Word processing (letter generation and document merging).
- Process mail (incoming and outgoing).
- Research, generate, and distribute database reports for various offices on campus.
- Record, process, and report application-related financial transactions.
- Create and prepare permanent records for Registrar’s Office and Advisors.
- Coordinate enrollment-related information processing with various offices.
- Light phone and e-mail correspondence with students and parents.
- Preform special projects as assigned.
- Preform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Educational:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Job related experience and skills:
- Ability to establish, maintain, and accurately file alphabetically and numerically.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience using computer and possess excellent word processing skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Position Requirements:
Educational:
- Secretarial/trade school.
- Some college education or bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
- Four or more years of office/clerical experience.
- Experience working in a college/university environment.
Job related skills:
- Excellent computer skills utilizing software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, email software, and internet search engines.
- Excellent knowledge of CRM software systems and ability to learn institutionally specific system.
- Strong ability to extract information from database and generate various reports.
- Knowledge of the college admission process.
