Apparel Brand Seeks a well-rounded Manager who looks for areas to add value
TL:DR: we have an immediate need for someone to offer an extra set of hands around the office. We need someone who can work out of our Kent Island offices 3 days (up to 4 hours a day) through spring. Based on the mutual fit, additional days/hours can be discussed.
Some of the key areas we need help now: no one can do it all, so we will provide some areas where we need the most support.
- Project Management: we need someone who can focus on details and manager a project. Able to keep track of open items, see the bigger picture, and hold the team and vendors accountable.
o Social media calendar
o Embroidery projects for our wholesale customers
- Social Media: as a good portion of our business is online and to best support our brands, we need to maintain a social media schedule and be aware of trends on the different platforms. Interest and creativity to have creative ideas and added value for being able to edit photos and videos.
- Sales and Customer Service: ability and interest in speaking with our sales team and customers as needed for projects and updates. Southwind offers best in class experience and support.
- General: there will be a range of opportunities that could come up. Someone who is hungry to jump in and take ownership will be recognized. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Other things we value: depending on the overall person, these items are additional needs we currently have.
- Ability to publish processes and procedures to expedite day-to-day requirements of the business.
- Experience in reviewing data and analytics to be used in decision making
- Retail and/or wholesale sales experience – there will be opportunities to staff vendor events and pop up sales efforts

Minimum Requirements:
· Ability to work 10-15 hours per week, in the Kent Island office
· Either a bachelor's degree and 3 years experience in an office environment or 6 years of work experience
