Elder Outreach Administrative Solutions, a management company in the healthcare industry, is seeking an experienced Benefits Coordinator to join the team.
Summary:
This position requires significant employee benefit experience and demonstrates health care industry knowledge. Primary responsibilities include employee benefit services for the organization and home office. Providing recommendations to leadership to establish and/or maintain policies, guidelines, and methodologies to remain compliant while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
· Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
· Is of good emotional, mental and physical health having sound judgment and high standards
· Is courteous in working with residents, families, and employees
· Maintains a neat and organized area at all times
· Must demonstrate ability to function as a cooperative team member with all fellow employees
· Must demonstrate ability to follow directions of supervising staff
· Computer literacy with HRCM databases, EMRs and MS Excel
· Ability to analyze large amounts of data in a complex, integrated reporting system
· Little travel may be required
Responsinilities:
It is to be understood that the Benefits Coordinator works by general consistent, prearranged “Primary” group assignments, but must be able to accept changes and adapt to added assignment as the need arises
· Garnishment Services
· Workman compensation claims and audits
· Unemployment claims and audits
· Employment Verifications
· Employee Benefits (elections, update carriers, notifications, reconciliation)
· COBRA Services
· Maintain Compliance with OIG and e-Verify for new employees and vendors
· Oversight of job postings for open positions
· Retirement plan management (elections notifications, funding)
· ACA reporting
· Ensure assignments, duties and responsibilities are performed timely and meeting deadlines
· Complete special projects/duties as assigned
Education:
Requires high school diploma
Bachelor’s degree in Related Field preferred (or additional experience in lieu of degree)
Experience:
Requires 4-5 years of relevant work experience
