Weekend Production Supervisor

Southworth International Group, Inc., located in Manila, AR, has an immediate opening for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor – 6a-6:30pm Friday-Sunday, with some Weekday hours required.

Southworth is the world’s largest manufacturer of ergonomic material handling equipment for vertical lifting and work positioning. The Weekend Production Supervisor supervises, plans, assigns and directs work to assigned production staff. The Production Supervisor will have demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, be computer literate, have teambuilding skills, have experience in de-escalation, and a basic understanding of manufacturing processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans, supervises and evaluates the work of assigned staff
• Develops, implements, and monitors work plans
• Provides front line leadership with guidance, direction and technical assistance
  when needed
• Develops and maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Evaluates the performance of assigned personnel; including communicating and
  enforcing performance expectations as laid out in company policy.
• Cultivates a culture of safety, reinforcing and enforcing all safety rules and guidelines
• Processes and maintains Time and Attendance
• Ensures customer satisfaction through schedule attainment and quality assurance
• Perform project tasks as assigned for production and Continuous Improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma plus 1 year of college or related vocational training
• 3-5 years of experience in leadership position
