Sovereign Commercial Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven (home) office-based Business Development Coordinator to generate sales qualified leads, support revenue growth efforts, and optimize our disciplined and progressive sales process. This role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring data accuracy in the CRM to support strategic decision-making. The BDC will work closely with the field sales team to qualify & nurture leads, schedule appointments for field sales managers, develop customer proposals, and nurture existing customer relationships.
We are located in the State of PA. Seeking East Coast /Region position; Eastern PA is ideal!
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
- Identify and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Generate qualified sales appointments for field sales team.
- Develop trusted relationships with customers and prospective customers.
- Manage the sales pipeline efficiently, ensuring consistent movement of prospects through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for nurturing leads and closing deals.
- Meet or exceed activity targets and KPIs through proactive selling and relationship-building.
- Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to develop targeted campaigns.
Sales Process Management & Optimization:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system.
- Track interactions, sales activities, and customer preferences to provide insights for sales strategies.
- Ensure proper segmentation and tagging of leads and customers for targeted campaigns.
- Train team members on CRM best practices and ensure system adoption as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales or business development
- Strong understanding of CRM software (HubSpot a plus).

- Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
