Job Description:
Client is seeking a talented and motivated Hardware Design Engineer to join our team in Vernon Hills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixed signal circuitry design, specification of parts, and hardware board focus. This role requires a hands-on approach to designing and developing innovative hardware solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mixed signal circuitry, including both analog and digital components.
- Specify and select appropriate parts and components for hardware designs.
- Focus on hardware board design, including layout, testing, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of hardware designs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and results.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mixed signal circuitry design.
- Strong knowledge of hardware board design and layout.
- Proficiency in using design and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis.
