We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and provide assistance as needed.
- Manage appointment scheduling through phone calls and in-person requests.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Maintain an organized reception area and ensure that all retail products are stocked and displayed attractively.
- Provide information about salon services, products, and promotions to clients.
- Assist with upselling services and retail products to enhance client experience.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
- Support stylists by managing their schedules and ensuring they have the necessary supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, ideally within a retail or salon environment.
- Strong sales skills with an understanding of retail math to manage inventory effectively.
- Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- A passion for beauty services and products is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
