Qualifications
Required :
- Active TS / SCI clearance or TS / SCI Eligible status
- U.S. Citizens only
- Earned Masters-level degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline
- Miminum 10 years of relevant System Safety experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including : DoD / IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or system engineering of large complex System of Systems
- Experience with professional system acquisition program office communications, documentation, reporting and outreach

The Senior System Safety Engineer assists System Acquisition and Systems Engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to system safety requirements engineering, solutions engineering, reliability, resiliency, and analysis. The Engineer works with program and project managers to qualify the safety of the design, development and instantiation of space systems and advanced system capabilities.
